From its humble beginnings, Northern Den has been driven by a commitment to making a meaningful impact in the community. Founded by Traverse City native Josh Haselton, who graduated from Traverse City West Senior High, our journey began with a passion for local development and a desire to enhance the lives of those around us.

 

After earning a bachelor's degree in Risk Management & Insurance from Olivet College, Josh started his career in sales at a local insurance brokerage. Pretty quickly Josh realized his heart was set on a career in real estate.

 

In 2017, Josh took a leap of faith and established Northern Den Realty, an independent real estate brokerage fueled by his vision of creating positive change in the community. With a background as a real estate investor, he was already managing a small portfolio of properties, which laid the groundwork for his future endeavors.

 

Today, Josh oversees the daily operations of Northern Den Development, Contracting, Realty, and Management. With the help of his superintendent Jared Farkas, and support staff, Northern Den creates more cost-effective neighborhoods for the community and beautiful custom homes for our building clients.
